What the FAQ?
Participants should have an arts training and/or several years’ experience in making or participating in arts projects.
Once all the entries have been submitted via the website, Silbersee will make the preselection for the pitch, which will take place on 10 December.
Each maker or group will be given a maximum of five minutes to pitch their idea face-to-face at A Lab. The panel will then have the opportunity to ask questions.
The panel will announce which makers have been selected to develop their idea into a performance under Spr!tzl mentorship on Sunday 10 December at 6.00pm, in the Loft at A’DAM Toren. These makers will receive a development budget of up to €20,000 per maker/group.
The panel of experts will assess the pitches based on the following criteria: artistic quality, originality, and feasibility.
In addition to the development budget, Silbersee will provide each maker or group with a mentoring package comprising artistic, administrative, productional, technical and promotional support, amounting to between 100 and 250 hours of support per project.
The details of the mentorship will be developed following the announcement 10 December. A budget will be drawn up in cooperation with Spr!tzl’s creative producer on the basis of the idea.
